Year 3 have been learning all about the human skeleton. We have generated lots of questions including:
- Why do bones break?
- How are bones made?
- Can bones be bent?
We were lucky enough to receive a bag of bones and accompanying magazines from one of our lovely parents. Using these replicas we have been able to name the bones, discover their functions and measure them. We discovered that most of our tibias are the same length, no matter what our height is. We are now trying to find out why children grow by solving The Case of the Mysterious Tall Child.
